Make the most of your trip by exploring some of Naples' most iconic spots—from ancient archaeological treasures and baroque churches to the stunning Amalfi Coast and unforgettable Neapolitan cuisine.
UNESCO World Heritage Site
One of the largest protected historic cores in Europe: layered Greek and Roman streets, baroque churches, artisan workshops, and legendary pizzerias—all best explored on foot.
Tip: Wear comfortable shoes; visit churches in the morning; save your appetite for pizza.
Basilica di San Francesco di Paola & Palazzo Reale
Naples' grand civic square, flanked by the neoclassical Basilica of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace—a majestic open space at the heart of the city.
Tip: Combine with coffee in Piazza Trieste e Trento; evenings may feature open-air concerts seasonally.
Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (MANN)
World-class collections from Pompeii and Herculaneum—mosaics, frescoes, and the Farnese marbles—housed in one of the most important archaeological museums in the world.
Tip: Purchase timed tickets online during high season; Metro Museo stop is right nearby.
Borgo Marinari & Santa Lucia
A castle on a small islet offering classic Vesuvius-and-bay views, fishing-boat harbours, and seafood restaurants—the most scenic stroll in Naples.
Tip: Sunset walks are highly recommended; pair with spaghetti alle vongole or a spritz at Borgo Marinari.
Posillipo, Certosa di San Martino, Castel Sant'Elmo
Hill terraces, castles, and seaside balconies frame the volcano and islands from unforgettable vantage points across Naples.
Tip: Hike the crater seasonally; Certosa di San Martino offers sweeping panoramic views over the entire city and bay.
Capri, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi
Dramatic cliff roads, lemon groves, and pastel villages accessible via ferries to Capri or Sorrento—one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.
Tip: Prefer weekday travel or public ferries; avoid driving narrow coastal roads if unfamiliar with the area.
Naples International Airport (NAP / Capodichino) is located approximately 7 km from the city centre and is well connected to major European cities. The Alibus shuttle runs directly to the central train station (Napoli Centrale) and the port area. Taxis and ride services are also readily available.
Naples is a major hub on Italy's high-speed rail network. Trenitalia Frecciarossa and Italo trains connect Naples to Rome (approx. 1 hour 10 minutes), Florence, Milan, and other major Italian cities. Napoli Centrale station is well connected to the venue by metro (Line 1) or taxi.
Naples offers a wide range of accommodation options from budget-friendly B&Bs to luxury seafront hotels. The Chiaia, Plebiscito, and waterfront areas near the venue are particularly convenient. We recommend booking early to secure the best rates, especially during June.
In June, Naples enjoys warm Mediterranean weather with average temperatures around 22–28°C (72–82°F) and long sunny days. Light summer clothing is recommended, with a layer for air-conditioned indoor sessions.
