Submission Guidelines

Submit your research to HAXD 2027 — Naples, Italy

HAXD 2027 is Technically Co-sponsored by the IEEE Italy Section. All accepted, registered, and presented papers will be included in the IEEE Conference Proceedings and submitted for possible inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

How It Works

From submission to stage

  1. Submit
    February 20th, 2027
    Upload your PDF via the submission system using the IEEE template.
  2. Peer Review
    Single-blind
    Each paper is reviewed by the technical program committee.
  3. Notification
    April 15th, 2027
    Accept / reject decisions with reviewer feedback.
  4. Camera-Ready
    May 5th, 2027
    Final PDF via IEEE PDF eXpress + copyright form.
  5. Conference
    June 14-16, 2027
    Present in Naples, on-site or online.

Format Requirements

All papers must be submitted in PDF format using the A4 IEEE manuscript templates for conference proceedings. Manuscripts must include relevant keywords. Failure to follow the formatting guidelines may result in the paper being excluded from the proceedings.

What You Can Submit

Submission Types

HAXD 2027 accepts the following types of submissions.

Research Papers
up to 8 pages

Novel methods, systems, or frameworks with rigorous evaluation and significant contributions.

Short Papers
4-6 pages

Promising early results, position papers, negative results with analysis, or replication studies.

Demo Papers / Artifacts
4-6 pages

Live demonstrations of working tools, prototypes, or interactive human-AI systems, plus reproducible code, datasets, or benchmarks accompanying a contribution.

Poster Papers
1-2 pages

Concise summaries of ongoing work, preliminary findings, or position statements.

Before You Submit

Submission Checklist

Please verify the following:

  • Manuscript uses the A4 IEEE conference template and is in PDF format
  • Keywords are included in the manuscript
  • Page length matches the assigned track (Research / Short / Poster)
  • Work is original and not under review elsewhere
  • Final author order is confirmed (cannot change after deadline)
  • Manuscript is proofread with complete references
Important Notes
  • All submissions must be original work not published or under review elsewhere. The conference enforces strict plagiarism policies.
  • The registered author list cannot change after the submission deadline.
  • At least one author must register and present the paper (on-site or online) for it to be included in the proceedings.
  • Accepted papers that are registered and presented will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.
